The insulation system combines mica glass tape with Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR), providing superior fire resistance and circuit integrity during fire conditions. Additionally, the cable is protected with tinned copper wire braid armour and a mud-resistant SHF thermoset outer sheath, making it suitable for installations exposed to drilling fluids and harsh offshore conditions.
