Gates EFG4K MegaSpiral® Hydraulic Hose – 3/8" to 1-1/4"

Gates EFG4K MegaSpiral® is a constant-pressure hydraulic hose designed for extremely high-pressure and high-impulse hydraulic applications.

The hose features four alternating layers of spiralled high-tensile steel wire, an NBR nitrile inner tube and an MSHA-approved chloroprene outer cover. It is compatible with petroleum-based hydraulic fluids and selected biodegradable hydraulic fluids, including synthetic esters, polyglycols and vegetable oils.

Available sizes include 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1" and 1-1/4". According to the supplied Gates datasheet, all listed sizes have a maximum working pressure of 28 MPa / 4,000 psi, with a stated minimum burst pressure of 112 MPa / 16,000 psi.
