Castrol Transaqua HT2 is a high-performance, water-based hydraulic control fluid formulated for subsea production and workover control systems. Designed for conventional and high-pressure, high-temperature applications, it provides reliable operation across topside, subsea, open-water, wellbore and downhole equipment.
Transaqua HT2 is suitable for Electro-Hydraulic Multiplex (EH-Mux) and direct hydraulic control systems. Its applications extend from individual Subsurface Safety Valves (SSSVs) to complex intelligent well completions.
The fluid includes a visual dye and ultraviolet tracer to assist with the rapid detection of subsea leaks, either visually or with compatible ROV-mounted detection equipment.
